Women’s Health: Lynda Carter’s Wonder Woman Workout

I contributed to a Women’s Health UK feature exploring Lynda Carter’s original Wonder Woman workout, providing six modern exercises inspired by the movements in her archive footage.

Written by Kate Cheng and published on 23 October 2026, the article brings together my exercise selection, technique guidance, suggested sets and repetitions, and the order I recommended for combining the movements into a session.

What stood out to me about Lynda’s routine was the variety. There was strength work, stretching and a more playful element with the trampoline.

Although some of the equipment and exercise names were dated, there was a clear logic behind the movements.

I wanted to keep that feel while giving readers practical alternatives they could adapt and build on as they became stronger.

My selection included box jumps or step-ups, incline press-ups, bench-supported one-arm dumbbell rows, farmer’s carries, controlled rebounding and a side-lying quadriceps stretch.

The published feature includes all six, in the sequence I suggested.

Together, these movements bring strength, power, cardiovascular exercise and flexibility into one varied session.

I also included ways to adjust the difficulty, such as raising the hand position during press-ups or choosing step-ups instead of jumps.

This reflects how I approach coaching: giving each exercise a clear purpose, making it appropriate for the individual and leaving room for enjoyment.
