Commitment to Equality

I want everyone who contacts me or works with me to be treated with dignity, respect and fairness. My approach to private personal training and online coaching reflects my responsibilities as a service provider under the Equality Act 2010.

Respectful, individual coaching

I will not unlawfully discriminate against, harass or victimise anyone using or enquiring about my services. I welcome people from different backgrounds and aim to provide a respectful coaching environment.

I assess each person's goals, experience, health circumstances and support needs individually. Decisions about suitable training are based on relevant information, my professional competence and the practical requirements of providing the service, rather than assumptions about a person's background or disability.

Accessibility and reasonable adjustments

I will consider accessibility when planning and delivering my services and make reasonable adjustments for disabled people in line with my legal duties. This may include adapting communication, providing information in a different format, or adjusting how suitable sessions are delivered.

Please tell me about any barriers you experience or support you would find helpful. This invitation does not replace my responsibility to consider accessibility in advance. Where an adjustment is needed, I will discuss it with you and review whether it is working. I will not charge you for reasonable adjustments I am legally required to make.

Safe and appropriate support

Training is adapted to the individual. If your needs fall outside my qualifications or experience, I will explain this and, where appropriate, suggest seeking advice from a suitable healthcare or exercise professional. Any decision will take account of reasonable adjustments rather than assuming that a disability prevents participation.

Raising a concern

If you experience unfair treatment or an accessibility barrier, please contact me at [email protected] or 07716 755 012. I will take your concern seriously. The Complaints Procedure explains how I will respond.

I will review my approach when feedback, experience or changes to the service identify a need for improvement.
